Country idea

Here's an upcycled project I worked on today ~ inspiration for my big country wedding =)

I stained a Mason jar with some alochol ink.  I then took some Tim Holtz ribbon and stained it with 2 different colored Distress Inks, crumpled it up and tied it to the jar.  Added a Tim Holtz glass accent that had ink on the back side and adhered to a piece of card stock using Glossy Accents.  I then wrote a "F" using a Distress Marker to represent our last name.  It was tied to the jar using some twine (would rather have used some jute twine, but didn't have any!).  I topped it off with some paper flowers and a foil covered sheet of cardstock on the bottom for a mirror effect.

Cute as a Bee

After KBD released this cute PNC file, I knew I had to make a cute card with it.  I was on a mission to find the perfect accents.  When I saw this embossing folder I knew it would bee perfect =)

I created the yellow background paper using my Distress Ink, then embossed it and went over some spots with the black soot.  Love how it turned out!
